Vic: Line search for missing man

(EDS: note changing keyword from Reservoir)

Police will conduct a line search today for an elderly man who went missing from his
outer-Melbourne nursing home two days ago.

Police say the search will focus on bushland near the Radford Private Nursing Home in Reservoir.

JAMES O'CONNELL, aged 85, was last at the home about 7.30pm (AEDT) on Monday.

An air-and-land search has so far failed to locate him.

Sergeant GRANT KELLY, of Reservoir Police, says police are concerned because of the
man's age, his state of health and because weather conditions have been very hot.

Sergeant KELLY says there's no indication of suspicious circumstances.

Mr O'CONNELL, who suffers from memory loss, is described as 182 centimetres tall, of
solid build, with short grey hair and a fair complexion.

He was wearing a brown woollen jumper, white polo top, track suit pants and brown slippers
when he was last seen.
