BANK OF AMERICA IS BEST FOR FIGHTING ONLINE IDENTITY FRAUD.(market research)(Brief Article)

Bank of America is the top U.S. bank in terms of its efforts to prevent online identity fraud, according to Pleasanton, CA, research firm Javelin Strategy & Research. As defined by the Federal Trade Commission, identity theft is the stealing of personal information, while identity fraud is the use of such information for unlawful purposes. BoA came out on top of the 2005 Online Banking Safety Scorecard compiled by Javelin, followed by Citibank, E*Trade Bank, Washington Mutual and Wells Fargo.
