FED:Gillard to break pokies promise: oppn

CANBERRA, Jan 16 AAP - The federal opposition says Prime Minister Julia Gillard is
poised to break her word on poker machine reform.
Ms Gillard on Sunday met with Tasmanian independent Andrew Wilkie, who guaranteed support
to her minority Labor government in exchange for the introduction of anti-gambling legislation
by mid-2012.
But the Labor leader on Monday ducked questions on whether the federal government still
backed mandatory pre-commitment technology for high-intensity poker machines - the policy
